Get ready to see “The Simpsons” on your mail!!!
Friends, does this news excite you guys? Very soon the characters from our favorite series “The Simpsons”, are soon going to be available in our post offices, in the form of stamps. You can buy them put them on your mails and send them to your friends and relatives. This is the most interesting thing that a creator can do to make the fans happy.
Now we have never had any doubts about how popular this Fox series is. The series has been entertaining us from the past twenty years and is one of the longest running animation series today in the world of television. The Simpsons is currently running into its season 20. This is one television show that has most ardent fan following and in-fact the number of its fans has been on rise.

The stamps will feature the animated characters of the iconic Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson. All the stamps of your favorite animation show have been designed by The Simpsons creator and executive producer, Matt Groening.
This is not any ordinary occasion on which The Simpsons stamps are being published. The Simpsons is celebrating its 20th anniversary throughout 2009, which will conclude on January 14, 2010. The series till date has received 24 Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award and number of others.

Though we are not yet sure about when these stamps will be made available for sale in the market but a sneak peek of The Simpsons stamps will be made available on Thursday, April 9 at 8 a.m. ET on www.usps.com. At this time the postal service will announce on what date the stamps will be available for sale and also how you can pre-order them. Every year the postal service receives about 50,000 stamp suggestions, but only about 20 topics make the cut for circulation and one out of these twenty is our very own “The Simpsons”.
