Season 12 of The Simpsons premiered on Wednesday November 1, 2000 with the first episode of the season named as “Treehouse of Horror XI”. The season had 21 exciting episodes, which gave full entertainment to the fans. Executive producer of the season was Mike Scully. Sideshow Bob was back on the show in this season. He had not been seen in the series after the episode “Brother From Another Series”, in season 8. Moreover, the twelfth episode of the series “Tennis the Menace” was animated using digital ink and paint. Previously this technique was used in the episode “Radioactive Man” in season 7 and it wasn’t used again till the fourteenth season of the series. Well known personalities like Drew Barrymore, Stephen King, Amy Tan, The Who, Leeza Gibbons, Patrick McGoohan, Edward Norton, Michael Keaton and many more made guest appearances on the show, in this season.
